Just a couple pics from the vacation.
School started on August 11th. Alex is in first grade this year and loving it. Unfortunately, he is the chatty one and is constantly getting warnings about the talking. The teacher's kid is the talker. Go figure. He's playing soccer now and I think once he actually gets some experience he might be pretty good at it. He loves to be the goalie. He's not so fond of getting pushed by the bigger kids. Who would?
Alivia is now in a big girl bed, and it's big. She cannot climb into it on her own. A normal sized two year old would probably be able to, but she's teeny tiny! She loves it, though. It's her princess bed. The sheets are, of course, pink and the pillowcase has a tiara. We are probably creating a monster. But have you ever seen a cuter princess?

Not much else going on with us. Just trying to get back into the routine of school and work. I've decided to start graduate school. I go next week for orientation and classes begin after that. I'm excited about it but a little nervous. I'm getting my degree in Educational Leadership. A lot of people have asked me if that means I can be a principal. No. I would have to take a few additional classes to do that, and I'm SOOOOOOOOO not interested in becoming a principal. I enjoy the classroom. Basically, it will give me the background to be included in curriculum development and design...which I'm really interested in. Don't ask me how I'm going to juggle working full time, being a mom, and going to grad school (thankfully, it is online through the college I got my undergrad). I guess I'm one of those crazy people that thrive on stress. Ha!
